MMA
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) - Senior Class
This adults only class combines the striking aspects of Muay Thai and Boxing with the grappling aspects of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling, as seen on popular MMA events such as the UFC. Although no previous training is required to participate in this class, it is highly recommended that all students complete at least one month of Muay Thai / Kickboxing training before transitioning into the Mixed Martial Arts class. Suitable for adults of all fitness levels.
Junior Martial Arts
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) - Junior Class
A class for boys and girls aged 16 and under. This fun and dynamic class uses the great disciplinary aspects found in traditional martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu and Karate and combines them with the more practical self-defence aspects found in Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and Wrestling. This fun and dynamic class is guaranteed to keep children fighting fit, as well as providing them with a new found inner confidence and discipline that will benefit them for their entire lives. Suitable for juniors of all fitness levels.
Muay Thai/Kickboxing
Muay Thai / Kickboxing
Our Muay Thai / Kickboxing classes are separated into three different levels – Beginner, Intermediate & Fighter. Our Beginner Classes are suitable for anyone new to Muay Thai / Kickboxing. This class will focus on the basics and fundamentals of Muay Thai / Kickboxing while building a solid foundation of strength and conditioning. Members who show adequate competency in the beginner class, will be given a special invite to attend the Intermediate Class. This class will place more emphasis on advanced combinations and techniques, as well as demanding a considerably higher level of strength and conditioning than required in the beginner class. Finally, Intermediate members with a keen interest in the full-contact aspects of Muay Thai / Kickboxing will be given an opportunity to try out for the Fighter Class through a series of fitness tests.
Boxing
Boxing - Senior Class
Our boxing classes are famously known for being one of the most strategically structured in Melbourne’s south-east. Our focus is to ensure all of our students progress within the gym and build a strong foundation. Students will develop their strength, speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, endurance and power. Aside from boxing generally being one of the most effective, comprehensive total body workouts you can choose. Many of our members come with dreams to compete at high levels. For this reason, we ensure that everything we teach is both practical in the ring and applicable outside in self-defence situations.
Strength & Conditioning
Strength & Conditioning
These classes are designed to improve the performance of anyone from serious athletes from all sports and disciplines, to somebody just looking to get fit and healthy. Under the guidance of our renowned strength and conditioning coach, you will be pushed to your limits to ensure that you become fitter, faster, stronger, as well as more powerful and agile. Every component of your sporting performance will be targeted and taken to new heights using training methods and equipment you’ve never seen before. Suitable for adults of all fitness levels.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) – is universally regarded as one of the most effective martial arts for self defence. It is a style of which can be mastered by people of all ages and fitness levels. BJJ’s driving principle is that a smaller, weaker person using proper technique like leverage, joint-locks and chokeholds can successfully defeat a bigger, stronger opponent.
